A1 Group values diversity. For us, diversity means contributing and shaping with one’s full potential. Because we know the more heterogeneous, diverse and – multi-faceted – the teams are, the more different perspectives, ideas and skills they bring along. This is an essential milestone, because diversity makes us more innovative, more efficient and more changeable – and thus more stable and well equipped for a successful future.
Gender equality continues to be an important issue in our society. At A1 Group, we not only draw attention to this issue, but also actively address it. Years ago, we set ourselves goals to increase the quota of women, especially in management positions. We not only regularly review these targets, but also develop measures to promote diversity on an ongoing basis and across all A1 countries.
At A1 Group we know that unconscious bias is a major barrier to diversity, equality and inclusion. Therefore, in 2021, a cross-country e-learning was rolled out in 7 languages to provide comprehensive information and counteract unconscious biases at different levels. In addition, workshops are offered to create new frameworks and better processes through discussion and exchange.
