In Austria, ongoing projects include the KinderuniWien (Children’s University Vienna), where A1 employees host exciting lectures for children between the ages of 7 and 12.

In addition, A1 Austria sponsored both the “Austrian Cyber Security Challenge” and the “European Cyber Security Challenge” (ECSC2022) in 2022, whose competition was held in Vienna, to give the topic even more presence. These competitions aim to promote young cyber talent and encourage them to pursue a career in data protection.

Likewise, we provide technical support to the fundraising campaign “Licht ins Dunkel”, which supports families in need and people with disabilities. We also offer free call credit to social associations such as the “Ute Bock Refugee Project”.

In Belarus, Bulgaria or Northern Macedonia, we support the Red Cross, SOS Children’s Villages or the DOBRA Foundation.

You can also count on A1 Group when help is needed quickly. During the devastating earthquake in Croatia at the end of 2020, volunteers from A1 Croatia field staff team and financial support were quickly on hand to help those in need.
